IWCC in action with Refugees.

In this blog I will get more serious as I usually do, I have a reason I swear.

I do it with the respect and kindness that Sudanese deserve.

There is a country in Africa called SUDAN in which there is a place called Darfur that is facing a horrible war.  Some of these people go another countries under the refugee status;  they go to countries like Chad and they live in shelters, but still,  food, wahter and supplies aren’t suffient.  Then is why I get emotional and I think Why people don’t do anything?  including my self.   IWCC is started working on it.  We started to play videos about the refugees situation, bring some organizations that are looking for help.  There is an organizatoin called Hike to Help Refugees, and what they do is to hike around the country and get some money for the refugees,  they are comming to Omaha and YOU can hike, all you need is to walk and then you will be helping out the refugeess.  Also, they have Tango nights, where while you learn and join a tango class, the money for the class fee will go to the refugees.

Have you seen? or do you have a friend? take a class? or a least talk to a Sudanese student at school? Well, some of them are people who have suffered the war that comes with pain and sadness.  We see them and we don’t know thet some of them have had very sad experiences.  But they are here in the U.S and they are going to school, improving their life, willing to grow up,  just like  I do and just like YOU DO  READERhand.gif!

Come, join and help what you got with others! hand-07-june.gifDon’t be blind to others pain, go help and become a better human being
