Today Is Another Day

Hello world today is another day thatI’m not feeling at my best.  My stomach keeps gettig these sharp pains like someone is poking my stomach with a knife every few minutes. My nose is stuffy I can’t breath through it, the sinus pressure is giving me a headache, and I just didn’t want to get out of the bed this morning.  I need some extra cash in my pocket; does anyone know of a way how?  I work for the basketball team for work study, but I won’t see a check from that for awhile.  Has anyone noticed besides me that the price of gas has went way down.  I was surprised when I saw it at like $3.03, I got all giddy and everything.  I took some recruiting pictures the other day and took some photos of my own around campus.  Some people can really take beauty for granted. this campus is so pretty it’s under some construction, but it’s still pretty.  I can’t wait to see the new footbal field and student center.  I saw the designs and they were really cool.  Our campus is always growing; we have to title of being a two year college with a four year feel.  Well I have to go for now gang, but I’m going to leave you with a little trivia question leave a comment and tell me what you think the answer is.  It’s an easy one

A Day like No Other

Hey guys what’s going on?  Today is very gloomy, rainy, with a lot of dark clouds out, but it’s okay sometimes rainy days are fun.  When I was a kid I used to hate when it rained.  Now that I’m older i just use it as an excuse to sleep in :).  Today I was falling to sleep in my college algebra class.  I don’t like to, but it seems like as soon as I step foot into that class room all the life gets drained out of me and my eyes get heavy.  Have you ever been sitting up and all of a sudden you close your eyes and your head starts to drop?  It’s funny when you see people that do that then jump up as if they were not just falling asleep.  My friend thinks it’s because I already know a lot of the stuff we are covering now, and I get bored easily. Which is some what true because in high school I was taking pre-calc trig and would have been in statistics if my family hadn’t have moved.  But, I have an issue with taking placement test.  Score low on them even though I know I know the answers.  I start freaking out with the instructor says I only have a limited amount of time left. I start to get jumpy, and rush through problems and questions.  I’ve gotten better at it though, and here at Iowa Western they have a student development center that can help you if you have troubles such as those while test taking .  Basketball is soon approaching; they have there first scrimmage early next month. I think we are going to have a really good team this we could take the title dead serious. I saw that there was an opening in the Reiver Village (the apartmetns)  I’m going to call and inquire about it.  I hate communting between Omaha and Council Bluffs.  At the time I leave school there is always heavy traffic and I have bad road rage.  It’s hilarious when I think about it later at the fact that I got mad at someone for hoping in front of me, or not turning on their turn signal when they were turning .  I also want to live on campus because sometimes our winters can be harsh. That is the only thing I don’t like about the midwest, but I know if I moved some where else I would actually miss the snow.  I get so excited with those first flurries start to fall from the sky, and the weather men and women start to put little characters on their forcasts lol. I’m a dork I know, but you love. Hey I have to go now guys. I know you all are sad, but don’t worry I’ll be back next week I promise

1st of the semster

Hey everybody how has the semester been so far?  Mine has been awesome I’m taking 17 credits this semester and everything has been going pretty well. Today is 9/11 or recently known as Patriots Day.  It’s hard to believe that this event happened seven years ago.  I remember exactly where I was that day and how everyone felt.  I was in 7th grade when it happened I had just been dropped off by my mom on her way to work.  me and my other classmates were waiting for my teacher to come into the classroom from monitoring the halls.  When she came in she frantically turned on the T.V. and turned to the news.  me and my bestfriend gave each other looks and wondered what was going on.  When we had saw what happened on the news we thought it was a joke or a similation of a plan that somebody had created.   For it to really sink in I had to watch it multiple times.  As the day went on in other classes some of my classmates were crying some had family thta worked in the towers.  The thing that was so odd though is that my mom and grandpa were talking about if the terrorist wanted to attack us were would they do it.  My grandpa said New York city and my mom said the Pentagon.  My grandpa loved to debate; they had a long conversation over that.  Of coarse when it happened he had to tell my mom I told you so.  Today pray for the families that lost a loved one in this attack and never forget the people that lost their lives

virus yuck:p

hey guys whats up haven^t heard from me in awhile because my laptop got a virus. i don^t know how i have norton and everything. anyways the mouse is screwy and the keyboard will only let you type certain letters. my mom is a computer genious though so she is going to take care of it for me before school starts.  I WAS mad because i put my books on hold for next semester and i didn’t that you couldn’t get them until july 21st. so i drove to council bluffs battling traffic and heat just to hear that and leave without books lol i gotta go sorry its so short but i have to go watch america’s best dance crew on mtv have you guys been watching it ? i think season 1 was better but i still like 2 watch phresh select has some cuties lol. bye for now.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

That’s all we really want lol. Hey everybody my birthday is in 5 days Yippee!!! I will be 19 yeah I’m still a young buck. I’m leaving tonight to go to Chicago to the Puerto Rican Day Parade it takes like 8 hours to get there. well it depends on who is driving I get there in like 5 hours, but it depends on if you shop along the way.  I can’t help it the malls call my name.  I have been going almost every year; I’ve missed it for the past two year because something always came up.  My dad is Puerto Rican and African American so I try to incorporate the culture into my life.  I wish I  knew Spanish more fluently my dad would teach me when I got to be around him, but that wasn’t that often so I couldn’t pick it up when I was younger.  Anyone willing to teach me.  It would be cool if there was a program where English speaking students and international students taught each other about their cultures and language .  I think we kind of have something like that but I’m not sure. Its cool Sarah is going to the Dominican Republic; I’m a little envious, but don’t tell anyone .  Well I still have some kinks to work out with my trip so I will chat it up with you guys later. Oh and by the way, GO CELTCS !!!!
