Hi everybody, this week end was one best, I made a small trip to Kansas city with some friends and it was so much fun. Even though it’s only 3 hrs away,it was so cool to go away from homeworks and books. I am so glad that this is the end of the semester, I have only few assignments left and summer is coming! isn’t that cool. This semester wasn’t really successful but I am not going to let this bite me, It’s not the end but the beginning of a new career.Anyway, next week is International fair and I am so exited about it, I wish I could participate but I have left all of my African outfit in Atlanta, that’s OK!, I will be there and will share some pictures on my next blog, See ya guys!!!

Oh my gosh! Yesterday when I was surfing on the internet I found something shocking that I want to share with you guys, that thing made me jump out of my sit! Have you ever heard about “The Tree Man”? That is the story of a 35 years old Indonesian fisherman (Dede Kosawa) whose hands and feet look like roots of tree. The warts started to grow on him after a cut on his knee when in was 15 years- old. Doctors have found that the man is suffering of Human Papillomavirus. Because of the disease, he lost his wife and his job, this father of two kids had to join a freak show to earn money. Isn’t that crazy? This guy is currently in the United States and a medical team is helping in search of finding a cure. I am currently creating an application on facebook, everyone that is interested to send a message of encouragement for Dede Kosawa are willing to do so later during day. I will notify everyone after creating theapplication on Facebook Thanks!!!!! Solidarity Guys!

Last week was incredible. We had to practice giving injections to each others, no I am kidding, we actually practiced on oranges and and hot dogs. Why? maybe because they look similar to human’s skin, I have no idea to tell you. Anyway this was a very scary experience for me, it might sounds easy for some people, but it wasn’t for me. We had to learn to handle different types of needles and depending on the type of injection, needles have to be handle in a certain way, well I don’t want to go to much in detail, but just by thinking that I am going to do that on real person that is kind a scary! Nobody get poked and it’s a good thing. I am glad to have wonderful teachers, Ms Cady and Ms Miller they are always making funny jokes and they have good sense of humor, which makes everything easier. At the end of the class we were allowed to bring some needles at home to keep practicing, trust me I need some practice, I already feel bad for my future patients LOL!

This week end, no matter what, get rid of your books and bring some romance. Just think about it for second, how long you haven’t had a romantic time with you partner? I am sure it must have been a while. Some you work, study and have to be full time mothers and fathers; however, this week end you have the choice to have some free time because it’s VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Here are some romantic tips for this special day:
- Cook dinner and have some wine together.
- You can buy a vase with some roses.
- Run a bubble bath after she or he had a hard day of work.
- Write a song or an original poem.
- Keep a candy or chocolate piece in your mouth and have her/him to bite the other part.
- Give her chocolate roses.
- Make sure that you have a desert.
- Ladies, this time it’s your turn, take you man to a quiet little restaurant for the evening and of course you have to pay and the tips too please!
- Have a picnic in you bedroom.
- Take a little pieces of papers that say “I Love You” on them and stick them all over the inside of her/his car.
- Change you cell phone ringer for your mate to something romantic.
- Paint her nails!
- Fill her car with balloons while she is at work, asleep and make sure to include a balloon that says “I love you”.
- A hug a kiss anytime you say hello and goodbye it never a problem.
There are so many others ways to be romantic, just be creative and let the magic of love do the rest. Let you partner know how much you appreciate them. After the week end don’t forget to look for your books, oh yes we have to come back to class guys!
