here i’m thinking about what to write! if you’ve been to my page earlier today you should noticed that i had had something about living on campus which i accidently delete!

well that’s cool though, I would talk about that later but right now i’m here sitting and all i could think about is halloween that is coming up!  if you think about it, what is really halloween?

for most people… like me^_^, it’s a night when you dressed up and try to scare little kids!

 no…. i’m kidding, it’s a night when you wear coustume and have fun together with friends!

It’s always fun to dress up… some people like to go scary while others just prefer getting into characters! in the movie Philadelphia by Tom Hans and Denzel Washington, Denzel who was a lawyer dressed up as a petition or sumthing… he had a bun of papers on himself! that was kinda funny!  i’m wondering what i’m going to be this coming halloween!

Talking about halloween i’m going to tell you a scary story!!!!

do you believe in ghost? hmmm… i kinda do… so if you don’t; you can just laugh at what i’m going to say, but if you do, then you can just nod at this… here i go

first night here on campus( by the way i live on campus, and my next blog will be about that) my roomates weren’t here yet so i was alone! scared, i asked two friends to stay with me.  Two of us were sleeping in the last room while one of us was in the first room.  but when i woke up in the morning, i noticed that the third person was also in the last room where we were! later on while we were eating, my friend explained to me the reason he came back to the last room.  Very seriously he told me what happened to him; keep in mind that he is a very serious person; very respectful and honest.  He told me that while he was sleeping, he heard footsteps coming toward him; at first he tought it was one of us, so he woke up and made sure he wasn’t dreaming and asked who it was; there was no answer and the footsteps were getting closer and closer! he then, waited for a while and asked again, very seriously… there was no answer still…! suprized but not worried, he rose up and leaned toward the door to see who was coming! (at that time the footsteps just stopped at the door) and then he saw something very white! it looked like a human being but it was all white and blured! Even though he was a guy with no believe in ghost, he got worried and that’s why he came back to the last room!

after he stopped telling the story, i was shaking, just like it wasn’t enough, my second friend nodded to it and declared she heard voices too, while she couldn’t sleep!!

i freaked out, but being a believer, i concluded the ghost was there because the apartment has been empty for a while, so it settled in! i then convinced myself not to think about it, but then my first nights, i paid attention to every single noises whenever i’m alone

But no need to panic, the ghost was probably there for a good reason, good ghost don’t hurt nobody!  and just like my guy says: “don’t be scared of what is not alive, be scared of what is breathing and close to you”

The first weeks of the semester, i’ve noticed something different; i couldn’t figure it out, of course the school is now tobacco free, of course the reiver village (apartments) has been upgraded, and of course there are a lot of new students.  But there were something about the new faces that i couldn’t quite put my hand on.  i have noticed we got more guys and more diversity.  so  driven by curiosity, i’ve decided to ask every students i meet on campus about where they are from…. and that finally explained it all! THERE’S FOOTBALL NOW AT IWCC!!! and a lot of athletics came here to play football from different states.  I was super excited finding that out, because i was proud of IWCC; football means more extra curriculum activities and also it feeds my wish of IWCC becoming a 4-year college someday!!! that’s just how much i love it here; i would rather stay here and accomplish all my courses and then go to a graduate school then transfering.  NOw back to football, well honestly, i don’t understand it.  I respect the game, and i would even watch it, but i just don’t get it! lol… maybe that might have to do with the fact that football has been soccer for me til i came here.  I mean why wouldn’t soccer be a football, they use foot and a ball…. ^_^ maybe they wanted to make it easier on players because if soccer was called football here in the U.S plus the football?!?…huhhh people might get really really confused! hahaha…

i don’t mind calling it soccer, it just sounds different to me^_^ but ya i love soccer in the other hand.  i understand it! (yeah for me!) so IWCC has a football team now; or at least that’s what i have been told.  Honestly, even after having a dozen people telling me they are here for football, i’m not still convinced! (so go ahead and comment, let me know if i’m right!) the reason is because i don’t know where the team pratices at, and there’s never announcement regarding the game or the team and so forth! do you guys think it might be a super secret football team and the guys accidently told me! are they going to be in trouble for talking? wooo it would be sooooo cool, maybe the reiver is up to something!! LOL i’m just being a silly girl…but for real, do we have a football team?i have also heard that IWCC  used to have a football team before!!!

I just found this out: we have a dual logo!!!! if you go to our website: iwcc.edu and click on “athletic” you will see this logo at the left top corner! and you click on that! the super top secret football team is hidden there!!! lol…. that webpage has articles regarding football at IWCC and other schools under NJCAA(national junior college athletic association)…so briefly we kinda have football at IWCC….. don’t we? lol just kiddiiiing!! we do!! ^_^
