Em’s Blogtime Fun

     My name is Emily and I write blogs.  I am a college sophomore; however, this is technically my first year at Iowa Western.  I transferred from a nearby university after an interesting first year, but am hanging tight with my current choice of major: art.
     I have practiced several forms of art since I’ve been a kid.  I’ve become pretty fluent with drawing, painting, sculpting, and I’ve dabbled in other areas like stained glass and some mixed medias.  I could tell you it has been a hard, strenuous journey throughout my art career, but that would be a lie.  I have enjoyed every minute of my life that has been dedicated to it.  The way I see it, there is infinite knowledge out there, about everything, so why not be overjoyed to take it all in?  And I am using ‘knowledge’ loosely; as in everything that you could possibly know about anything ever.  I enjoy trying to harness it all.
     When I am not in class or working on homework I like to do fun things.  I spend a lot of time, as you might have guessed, drawing or painting or something of the like.  When I am not doing anything like that, though, I enjoy spending time outside, reading, listening to music, playing video games, making things, and watching cartoons.  I could list a lot more, but I think you’ll read about them in later blogs.
     I hope this quick summary of myself gives you a little insight to the blogger behind my posts.  I think you will get to know more about me and my life inside and outside of Iowa Western by reading my blog regularly! [hint.]
