Ladies- How to Have A Super Hot Finals Week!(No Boys Allowed!)
So… just because I am engaged does not mean that I don’t occassionally revert back to being a girlly girl. In fact, I have more of an excuse to go all out when I feel like dumbing down to Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde.
To continue…it’s gonna be a long night- So cancel your date with that hunk, don’t answer any calls from guys or texts, and if your married or engaged- (Get them out of the house! Tell them that the sportsbar he loves is having wings specials)!
How to have a totally super hot finals week. What inspired this? Ladies, get this. There was this really shy kid in one of my classes all semester. The guy was weird. And shy. And I don’t remember him ever talking during class. He had long blonde hair that covered his face, and was never well dressed. He came in today, with a hair cut, long stringy blonde hair gone…and was a complete babe. He was so confident he talked to everybody even though nobody recognized him. Confidence boosts how we interact with the world. Confidence boosts test scores. So this finals week- do yourself a favor and be super hot!
How? Well I have a test tomorrow that I can NOT possibly study any more for. I put my book away turned on Sex and the City season 1 (yeah I have the dvd’s haha), turned it to mute, and am blasting chic music to replace the girls gossip (I have it memorized). So Britney Spears, Beyonce, and Christina are filling the apartment. I’m even dancing to them!
Trav’s at BVU for the night classes. I just had a fruity drink from Sonic, a complete mud mask, and did my makeup for the first time in a long time. (Big deal its 10 pm)! I painted my nails super hot pink, because well…it’s hot! I also happened to put on a summer dress and put a matching yellow shirt on my 2 pound chihuahua Czar! Then…I did something that girls never do- but really should once in a while..
I grabbed the scissors I used to cut the Christmas wrapping paper, went into the bathroom, and cut my hair. Yes…Layers! Only a measly 2 inches- but the long red locks are now medium length waves.
I bet ya I could of studied all night. But ya know what? It’s 4 degrees above zero folks. Something about finals week should be hot! Why not make it you as well?!
And P.S. I’ll so totally ace that test..
